Cill Rialaigh

In December 2007 and December 2010 I had the opportunity to spend some time at Cill Rialaigh artists retreat in Ballinskelligs, Co Kerry. On the first occasion I endured the wind, rain and worst winter storms on record, but the second occasion was a pleasure and an escape from the snow that the rest of the country was experiencing. I am constantly fascinated by the long haired mountain sheep wandering around our deserted village oblivious to the elements - always inspiring! The following images contain photographs of the area around Cill Rialaigh and images of some of my paintings.
